Dallas: NCAAF Week 1 Results

Week 1 in NCAAF betting was pretty iffy.  We booked a small loss overall but the record is pretty sick.  Most of my big bets won so that makes me feel decent that I’m putting the bigger money on the winners.  Pretty much all the results I’m seeing gamblers putting up this week are showing the good handicappers booked solid losses.  Here is how week 1 shaped up.

We will also be adding a new feature this year; the bad beat of the week.  Every week I’m going to track the week’s worst bad beat and at the end of the year hopefully I’ll have a hilarious story as my bad beat of the year.  I will also be keeping track of my luckbox bets of the year.  I didn’t really luck my way into any wins this week so nothing qualifies.  My bad beat of the week is the Georgia loss to Oklahoma State.    Georgia’s QB came down with the flu the night before the game and still played.  Not that the flu is the reason they lost but my gosh Georgia looked so much more physical than OkST so I think I could have won that one sans flu.  We’re going to see a huge OkST bandwagon this week so I will almost certainly blindly fade them against whoever they play.

My Lock of the week really has no reason behind it other than I accidently bet it twice. I guess it must be a great bet if I decided on two seperate occasions to bet it. I’m trying to get Rusty to book some more action for me so those might be the only extra games I play this weekend (unless I get some serious locks from some experts).
