Vegas: My first limit session

Friday we get up and do the usual routine.  Park at Paris, to Ballys to eat, Caesars, Bellagio, Mirage, Treasure Island, end up back at the Mirage to play.  I decide I want to play limit today and sit in on a 4/8 Half Kill game.  I have the best table image ever as the only good player at the table (on my right) thinks I’m a huge nit and folds when I three bet him over and over (Yeah I showed down AA and AK a couple times, he didn’t see all those T8 offsuits and J3 suiteds).  The whole session he tried to get me drunk because he thought I was a nit but would stack it off by the end of the day if I got tanked.  We toasted shots, downed Coronas and I acted drunk but he didn’t realize I could drink him under the table twice and still play profitable limit holdem.  The rest of the table thinks I’m a lucky drunk and keeps paying me off.  They are all gunning for me because I’m up almost $500 in this game for some reason.  I wish I had a picture of it because there I was sitting on at least five racks of dollar chips with two black chips on top!

I’m having a good day where I’m catching a few hands but my bluffs are working and I made a couple of sick value bets (Raise A4 preflop and value bet getting called to the river on a board of 42TJ7).  My running good reaches its peak when I three bet TT and get four bet cold from Rusty behind me after a cold call.  He bets the flop dark, I call dark and the guy behind me raises the flop.  Rusty calls and I look down to see a board of QT5.  Thanks!  Three bet, call.  Three bets go in on the turn, more money on the river and ship it my way vs AQ one time (keep on cold calling 3 preflop with AQ old man).  I do take a few beats as the night goes on and finish the day up about $400, which brings us up for the trip approx. $1050.

Quote of the day:  After Rusty tries to run over this limit table and gets caught and old man turns to him and says “Son this ain’t the big game.  You’d be better off playing craps!”
